Robert Young Estate Winery Chardonnay 2012

Alexander Valley, Sonoma County, California
PLCB Code# 47263

Normally this wine does not go through malolactic fermentation. The 2012 Chardonnay Robert Young Vineyard exhibits a light gold color, notes of caramelized unbuttered popcorn, orange blossom and other citrus, medium body, excellent concentration, admirable purity and a long finish. Drink it over the next 4-6 years.-RP
90 Points Wine Advocate 12/14
A bold, rich, expressive style that delivers intense pear, fig, honeysuckle and creamy, jazzy oak in a full-bodied, graceful style that sails along, revealing subtle nuances on the finish. Drink now..-JL
92 Points Wine Spectator 6/15
Mild but pleasant aromas of citrus peach oak and vanilla.  It has a creamy texture with lemon and oak notes and a nice finish.
90 Points Bob’s Bulletin (Ron gave it 92)
