PLCB Code#  49455
Intense dark cherry-red with a garnet rim. Complex aromas to the nose, redolent of prunes in liqueur, ripe blackberries and fine, exotic woods like sandalwood. Elegant and voluptuous in the mouth, with considerable persistence and a pleasant mineral finish.
Winemaker’s Notes
Floral and spice notes accent black cherry, dried fig and dark chocolate flavors in this expressive red. Chewy tannins and balsamic acidity provide structure. Racy and a bit rustic. Drink now through 2022. 24,500 cases made.

Port-like aromas of dark fruit and leather.  there is lots of ripe tart raspberries and blueberries firm tannins and good acidity on the finish.  Very nice big Rioja, but a little too tannic at this time.  It may improve with a few years of aging.
